Over 1,500 Patients Covered As Foundation Organises Medical Caravan In Katsina Metropolis
At least 1,500 less privileged people who are suffering from various ailments in the Katsina metropolis have been covered and attended to
by a team of medical doctors and nurses.
The medical outreach, which happened on Saturday, targeted women and children, the elderly, and youths and also covered general outpatients.
The outreach sponsored by Muhammadiyya MM Saulawa Foundation was the 7th of its kind and is a way of giving back to society.
The Foundation Chairman, Ibrahim Saulawa, represented by one of the doctors, Dr. Musa Ibrahim Saulawa, explained that the medical caravan diagnoses the patients and gives them medication free of charge.

He added that patients that require further evaluation of the caravan’s assessment are being referred to see specialists in various hospitals where the foundation takes care of all their medical bills.
Saulawa, while calling on philanthropists and other Non-Governmental Organizations to invest in saving lives, also announced that the foundation also engages in assisting less privileged people mostly women and youths with empowerment packages.
